Do Vape Tanks Leak?

If a vape tank is not properly assembled or damaged, it can cause leaks that could damage the rest of the vape. First, be sure that there are no cracks in the tank. If there are, you’ll need a replacement. If it’s in good condition, it may be that your atomizer is not securely connected. Check the 510 connection to be sure it’s fastened to your mod firmly. You should also check for broken O-rings, which may be causing your leak. Always keep your vape sitting upright, so the juice doesn’t spill out of the chimney or mouthpiece. Keep the chimney clean with a cotton swab.

If you’ve done all this and you’re still experiencing leaks, you may be using the wrong liquid. Try a vape juice with a higher percentage of VG. Do Vape Pens Go Stale?

Vape juice can expire, but it doesn’t go stale like the chips in your pantry. The flavor and strength of the juice diminish, and the taste may get worse. That is because the chemicals in the liquid are breaking down. It usually takes about two years for a vape pen to expire. You can be sure to elongate the shelf life and keep the flavors strong for as long as possible by keeping your vape in a cool, dry, dark place in your home. A drawer or cupboard works nicely for this. Overexposure to light, heat, moisture, and oxygen will age your vape juice quicker.

Why Does My Vape Juice Turn Black?

Color change is completely normal for vape juice. Over time, the nicotine, as well as the other ingredients in vape juices, become stronger and more flavorful. The color of your vape juice will change over time. That’s totally natural. When you first get it, it may be yellowish or almost clear. After a few weeks, it may seem orange or brown. Over time, it will get darker as it ages and is exposed to light and oxygen.

Vape juice will transform colors more quickly if it is steeped. Steeping is the process of intentionally aging an e-liquid to bring out better flavors and increase the strength of the vapor. Store-bought vape juice is usually steeped before it is packaged and sold. You may notice that some bottles on the shelf are darker than others. It could be because of the levels of the ingredients, or it could be because the juice has been steeped for a little while longer.

You can steep your store-bought or homemade vape juice at home to improve the juice in your vape. When you do this, you can see the color change happening over time as the juice becomes richer.

Why Does My Vape Juice Have No Flavor?

An unusual but common and harmless side effect of vaping is something called “vaper’s tongue.” If you’re vaping and suddenly you aren’t able to taste the flavor of your vape anymore, it’s not that the flavor disappeared. You just can’t taste it. Similar to when you’re around a particular smell for a long time, if your taste buds get used to a flavor, they will stop registering it in your brain.

Another reason for the lack of taste is because your mouth becomes fatigued by inhaling so much vapor. Your mouth will have trouble producing saliva, which assists the taste buds with identifying flavors.

You can fix vaper’s tongue by switching to a different flavor of vape juice, vaping less often, and staying hydrated. Usually, vaper’s tongue fixes itself in a few days.

Why Does My Vape Pen Clog?

It can be frustrating when you’re trying to use your vape pen and it doesn’t work. Since there aren’t as many parts to a vape pen as a box mod, it can be harder to fix a clog. The reason you may be experiencing a clog could be that your e-liquid is too thick. Using a vape juice that has more PG than one with more VG may solve your problem since PG is much thinner than VG.

Your vape pen may also be clogged because of the temperature of the juice. If it has been in the refrigerator or freezer, or even if it’s just a cold day, your vape juice may have gotten a little bit thicker. Try to get your vape juice back to room temperature, so you can continue vaping.

Why Does My Vape Overheat?

An overheated vape is never good. If you’ve noticed that your vape is hot to the touch, try to figure out the reason and let the vape cool down before you use it again. If you find yourself taking several hits in a row, give the vape about 30 seconds between each one so that it can cool down.

That isn’t the only reason you can have an overheated vape. Check your wattage and voltage. If it’s too high, it can be a safety hazard and damage your vape, meaning you will have to replace it sooner rather than later. You should also be sure that your batteries are the proper ones for your device and that they aren’t swelling.

Can Vape Juice Affect Blood Sugar?

The sugar content in vape juices, even the flavored ones, is minimal and shouldn’t be a concern. However, sugar isn’t what can cause an increase in blood sugar. Nicotine in any form can increase the resistance of insulin in your blood. If you’re concerned about diabetes or any other medical issue related to vaping, it’s always best to consult your physician.

Can You Mix Vape Juice with Salt Nic?

While mixing different freebase nicotine vape juices is totally fine, you never want to mix a vape juice with salt nic with a vape juice that has only freebase nicotine. Because of the different chemical makeup of these two forms of nicotine, they don’t work together well. Salt nic is much more concentrated than regular vape juice. You can get too much nicotine in a single hit if you aren’t careful about the levels in each. You should also be careful which vape mod you’re using with the different e-liquids. Salt nic requires a vape that uses low power to generate a smaller amount of vapor. The high level of nicotine in salt nic allows you to get more from less. Freebase nicotine, on the other hand, can be used in stronger mods designed to make huge clouds of vapor.

Does Vape Juice Contain Tobacco?

Vape juice does not contain tobacco, but many do contain nicotine, which is a chemical found in tobacco plants. The nicotine is extracted from the plant and isolated from the other particles and contaminants found in tobacco plants. The nicotine is mixed with PG, VG, and flavoring to make it tasty. Vaping can still give you the effects of nicotine from a cigarette without all the additional health concerns that come with smoking tobacco. Some vape juices don’t even have nicotine. If you would prefer a CBD vape juice, those are available in some areas. There are also vape juices with no nicotine or CBD at all. These juices are good for those trying to wean themselves off nicotine slowly.
